Web service development (2006-2008).

Extraits from “Playray”, a casual gaming site plus Apaja’s own corporate site. Playray is a casual gaming service in 14 countries (as of Sep 2008). It combines games, avatars and a lively player community. The service is known as “Aapeli” in its native country, Finland, where it was launched 2004.
I planned, executed and supervised Playray’s visual facelift during 2007 and Apaja’s own corporate website facelift 2008. I turned project targets into clearly defined tasks, scheduled them and managed the daily work flow of designers. Besides drafting the initial concept and benchmarking existing solutions with the project team, I also worked as a coach during the process, helping the designers if they got stuck in a certain solution and objected the most “obvious” solutions.
